Expansion Committee

The Skinner West Elementary Expansion Committee was formed in 2020 to identify ways to maximize the benefits of the new Annex building that initially opened in 2019.

During its first meeting, the committee identified the following focus areas:

Promote equity for all Skinner Superstars
Optimize school resources for expected demand
Promote manageable class sizes
Identify more funding for the school
Advance academic programming

The committee works with the principal to advance these areas in coordination with other LSC committees, PTO/Forum, and Friends of Skinner West.
