Where: Skinner West main campus and Branch (for the neighborhood kindergarten classes)
What: Provided by Skinner teachers and staff, the STAR program offers sessions that include homework, physical activities, computer lab, music, theatre, games, art activities, and more! The dates match school calendar dates.
Cost: $2,300/year if divided into quarterly payments, or $2,200/year if paid in full at the beginning of the school year. A 20% sibling discount is offered for families with multiple children.
Payments: STAR requires contactless payments via EPay, the online payment portal mandated by CPS. Payment due dates are:
September 11 (full year and 1st quarter payments)
October 20 (2nd quarter payment)
December 21 (3rd quarter payment)
March 22 (4th quarter payment)
Your receipt (proof of payment) must be sent to skinner.starprogram@gmail.com in order to avoid a late fee.
Registration: Space is limited and on a first-come, first served basis within grade level groups.

What: Staffed by Chicago Park District employees, Park Kids at Skinner West provides a safe and fun setting for kids after school. Activities include sports, games, arts and crafts, and homework time.
Cost: $525 for the year, $175 each season (fall, winter, and spring)

We offer our Superstars a number of clubs and activities in the building after school. Some of these programs are sponsored by Skinner West teachers while others are provided by external, approved vendors. Learn more about all of our clubs and activities for this school year.
Students are NOT required to be part of any of the after-school programs.
