Mission: The Mark T. Skinner School is an exceptional community committed to helping a diverse student body achieve academic, social, and personal excellence through a partnership among children, parents, staff, and community. In accordance with the Chicago School Reform Act, our mission is:
To provide quality education for our students in all subject areas;
To assess our educational program annually in order to ensure that students are prepared for the next level of academic achievement;
To effectively utilize all available resources to achieve these goals through effective management and communication, quality professional staffing and staff development, parental involvement & community partnerships.
